convenient media such as DVD or CD-ROM.
Character Conversion
Most data is outputted in "Display Format" which does not contain
packed fields.
Numeric information is typically formatted with a leading sign character (+ or -
) with
decimal points. This allows for a simple EBCDIC to ASCII conversion.
File Sizes
The data can be split to
meet your file size requirements. No records will be split
between files.
